Girlfriend keeps stealing my good moisturizer

Living together problem: my girlfriend has decided that my $40 moisturizer is "basically the same" as her $7 one and uses mine. Generously. Like, scoops.

I've tried hiding it. She finds it. I bought her her own. She still uses mine because it "smells nicer".

How do you all handle the shared bathroom situation, I'm losing my mind

The lesbian bathroom shelf is a battlefield. My girlfriend and I have separate shelves. Separate. Shelves. It's the only reason we're still together.

just accept that it's both of yours now and split the cost. that's what we did and honestly it's better. she buys the sunscreen, I buy the moisturizer

Put it in a boring pump bottle. Label it "foot cream". She will never touch it again.

Ok but plot twist: if she loves it that much, maybe it's working for her too? Mine started using my stuff and her skin got so much better. Now we're "skincare buddies" and we do face masks on Sundays.

Update: we compromised. She's getting her own jar of the good stuff for her birthday. Until then she's allowed one (1) scoop a day. She already broke the rule. We're very happy.
