Being a girl on public servers (vent thread)

Can we talk about this? Every time I use voice on a public CS server it's either 'omg a GIRL' and three marriage proposals, or names I won't repeat here.

Today someone told me to get back to the kitchen right after I knifed him. Do you all use voice? Do you hide it?

My girlfriend says I play too much. She's not wrong.

I stopped using voice a long time ago honestly. It's not worth it. Which sucks, because callouts actually help the team.

This is literally why we started our own server. Come play on it, the regulars are cool and the admins (me) ban fast.

knifing him and then getting the kitchen line is the most satisfying combo there is. frame it.

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I keep using voice on purpose. The more of us they hear, the more normal it gets. Some days I don't have it in me, and that's fine too.

Yes, I'm the one who brought the cheese puffs.

I like that way of thinking about it. I'll probably still mute when it gets bad but I'm not going to hide every single time
